Sophisticated Aruba Carnival Meets Ultra Posh Miami!

We were priveledged to plan the fabulous wedding of Alexandra C. Mantilla and Jean Paul van Romondt, whose wedding was held at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens on January 22, 2011. A total of 250 guests joined the happy couple on a very cold winter night in Miami, as they joined in marriage on the beautiful venetian grounds of this historic museum. Guests were beautifully greeted with welcome beverages as they entered the magnificent estate.

The groom and his groomsmen arrived cool, calm, and collected, and ready to enjoy this amazing night we had prepared. Our stunning bride arrived in a gorgeous Bentley from Meilan Limousines, where she waited for the queue that her ceremony was about to begin. Thank you to Rev. Eddie Rodriguez who performed a Catholic and very romantic ceremony for the couple.

Dinner was served under a heated tent where guests enjoyed an exquisite selection of both american traditional and aruba inspired dishes. A special thank you to the phenominal staff of A Joy Wallace Catering and Decor team who made it absolutely extrodinary.

Guests had the opportunity to enjoy the music talents of not one, but three bands throughout the night. Bergman Pazs Band kicked off the party with songs by the Black Eyed Peas, Mana, Michael Jackson, and more. Then, the groom's father, Onno van Romondt, and his band, played a quick set of the top Beatles hits. Lastly, the BIG SURPRISE! Bride and groom had the famous Aruba band, Youth Xtreme, fly to Miami, to surprise their closest family and friends with an authentic Aruba-style CARNIVAL!!! Masks, beads, feathers, and many more carnival props were used during this festive time. I must say, the crowd went completely wild, and partied until about 1:30am!

Everything was executed to perfection...and it was another amazing night!

Wishing the happy couple many wonderful years together. Best...Lourdes xo

Exotic Island and Romantic Sails

It was a beautiful night at Fisher Island on November 27, 2010 as Jen Hildebrant and Anthony Acosta said their "I do" under the beautiful candle-lit banyan tree, as 95 of their most intimate family and friends witnessed the beginning of their journey as husband and wife.

Guests arrived to the island at 5:00pm and were greeted with champagne, as they made their way to the perfectly serene ceremony location. Once there, they were welcomed with a beautiful string trio ensemble by the talented Master Musicians. After the ceremony, guests walked down a lush-surrounded, lantern-lit path, to the cocktail party set inside the Vanderbilt Mansion. Guests enjoyed a beautiful array of cocktails and hors' deuvres while the bride and groom took advantage of a private photo session on the island with the award-winning Maloman Photographers.

The wedding reception unveiling was as magnificent as the perfectly clear island skies, and guests were fascinated with the amazing floral work by Parrish Designs.

A beautiful 4-course dinner was served and the wedding reception was a total success; executed perfectly to the very last detail.

At 11pm, the party had just gotten started. Guests continued the wedding reception "South Beach-Style", aboard a luxurious yacht cruise, "The Venetian Lady", where the bride and groom's DJ pick, DJ LaloC (who I must say was nothing but fabulous), kicked off the after-party that continued out at sea until 2:30am!

This magical fun-filled night was nothing short of extrordinary and we wish the happy couple many wonderful years together. It was truly a pleaure to have been given the opportunity to work with you and your families. xoxo, Lourdes
