We were priveledged to plan the fabulous wedding of
Alexandra C. Mantilla and Jean Paul van Romondt, whose wedding was held at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens on January 22, 2011. A total of 250 guests joined the happy couple on a very cold winter night in Miami, as they joined in marriage on the beautiful venetian grounds of this historic museum. Guests were beautifully greeted with welcome beverages as they entered the magnificent estate.
The groom and his groomsmen arrived cool, calm, and collected, and ready to enjoy this amazing night we had prepared. Our stunning bride arrived in a gorgeous Bentley from Meilan Limousines, where she waited for the queue that her ceremony was about to begin. Thank you to Rev. Eddie Rodriguez who performed a Catholic and very romantic ceremony for the couple.
Dinner was served under a heated tent where guests enjoyed an exquisite selection of both american traditional and aruba inspired dishes. A special thank you to the phenominal staff of A Joy Wallace Catering and Decor team who made it absolutely extrodinary.
Guests had the opportunity to enjoy the music talents of not one, but three bands throughout the night. Bergman Pazs Band kicked off the party with songs by the Black Eyed Peas, Mana, Michael Jackson, and more. Then, the groom's father, Onno van Romondt, and his band, played a quick set of the top Beatles hits. Lastly, the BIG SURPRISE! Bride and groom had the famous Aruba band, Youth Xtreme, fly to Miami, to surprise their closest family and friends with an authentic Aruba-style CARNIVAL!!! Masks, beads, feathers, and many more carnival props were used during this festive time. I must say, the crowd went completely wild, and partied until about 1:30am!
Everything was executed to perfection...and it was another amazing night!
Wishing the happy couple many wonderful years together. Best...Lourdes xo
